I have had this pool for almost 20 years. My pool is a splash Superpool 17x30 above ground. It has been a salt pool for about 7 years. I am on my 2nd salt cell and not sure if it is going to work this year. The pool has been covered and still is as of today. I dug a hole to lower the pool down and put a concrete footer around it with drainage around outside of concrete. The pool sits on 4 inches of sand with black plastic under it. I just finished putting a deck on three sides. I just ordered a new pump/filter Hayward power flow matrix 1.5 with 21 inch sand filter from Amazon
