The top step of my pool has been experiencing spots where thin layers of plaster has been popping and flaking off. I have some plaster patch material but since the plaster has acquired a blue tint over the years is there any method to tint the patch material to match the pool?

They make tints for pouring new plaster, but I'm not sure how small an amount you could acquire. You won't need more than a smidge, but you might contact a builder supplier.
