New here from central NJ. Pool is a in ground 16X32 vinyl liner.
Just had a new liner installed this past week and the water is new and untreated as of now.
hopefully after all these years of trial and error i can get the right answers from the gurus here.
So far I just added the metal free and its been running for 48 hours.
I guess next would be to get the PH and alkalinity up and level before I add anything else.
Well hopefully I get it right and if need be I might need some help.

There will be plenty of folks here that will enjoy helping you out. If you haven't already, start digging into Pool School, and begin with the ABCs. You'll need a good test kit as well to be successful, but do ask any questions you have at all. Enjoy the forum!

Step one is to get a great test kit so we know what we are dealing with. We recommend either the Taylor K-2006C or the the TF100 from TFTestkits.net. I have been using a TF100 for 4 years now and definitely recommend it. More here, Pool School - Test Kits Compared
