conceerned about pH and TA

I'm a little concerned about my pH and TA. We just topped off our pool to begin the season. My numbers are:

FC .8 I'm adding chlorine
pH 7.7
TA 105
CH 149
CYA 19 I'm adding 3# of CYA

I have a vinyl above ground pool. Water was nice and clear when we took tarp off. Water is at 70 degrees.

Your pH and TA numbers are fine for the moment. Your TA might be a little high but when your pH goes over 7.8 and you add acid to bring it down, your TA will come down with it

Where are you getting your test results?

I take my water sample to a company near me who will test it for me.

Uh oh, we have found that pool store testing is notoriously inaccurate and not repeatable.

If you want to be sure and take control, I highly urge you to invest in one of the recommended test kits.

I appreciate the feedback. I will probably get a kit one of these days. I made it through my first summer without one. Maybe just beginner's luck!
