Yes, your PH is great.

It would be a good idea to test TA. The TA level isn't critical, you just want to make sure that it isn't way way off. So anything between 70 and 140 is totally fine and even 60 to 200 is probably alright.
 
I just thought of another question. Do I need to vacuum my pool before I add the bleach? It doesn't have a bunch of leaves or anything, just some dirt from the installation and anything that may have settled from the top (bugs, pollen). Thanks again!

You may not need to, but I would certainly say that vacuuming prior would be very beneficial. The chlorine attacks anything organic (and consumes itself in so doing) so you will get more effectiveness from the chlorine if it only has to work on the small stuff that you can't see (or vacuum)......like algae.
