Polaris questions - storing and SLAMing

Is it ok to use my Polaris while SLAMing at a FC level of 12-14? I thought it might help to distribute any organics in the water...but I don't want to risk damaging the unit.

And during normal water conditions...can I just keep it in the water all the time? Or is it best to remove from the pool when it's not running?

Mine has been in the pool almost constantly for three years its fine.

Mine stays in the pool all the time. The debris bags color has bleached out, but stills works great. I have 3 bags that I rotate.
