Chlorine drop test...turns milky not clear?

Yesterday I tried the ft100 test kit..

When I performed the chlorine drop test in the speedstir the sample turned pink, the r-0871 would remove the pink, but the sample was not clear but a milky white color.

Regular pool not salt water,

I did attempt a search first but found nothing...

Not too unusual and nothing to worry about. When the pink is gone the test is done.

The milky look is caused by calcium hardness and is inconsequential to the results. What's your CH?
