Identify this backwash valve please

I have an Apollo DE filter. When I bought the house, there was a wrench clamped to the top of the valve, but that has since totally come off.

If I need to replace it, do I need more than just the valve. The fasteners seem old-school and not nice like the pastic stuff I see everywhere now.

Wow. First thing I'd do is go down and apply for social security retirement benefits for the filter and the valve.

So I suspect the valve was propitiatory to Anthony Pools when dinosaurs roamed the earth back in the 60s or 70s. Finding a replacement now will be difficult.

I'd like to see a picture of the whole pad.

The rubber couplings are cheap to replace and easy to find but they are not an ideal coupling. If you're going to replace, I would suggest removing the rubber and using PVC. The valve however, is not such an easy thing to replace. Looks like maybe a stop valve for a return? Cut it out and start again... This is just awful. Sorry.
