Need longer power cord for pentair filter

My filter has a 3ft twist lock cord. It's to short and I was looking to get a 6ft to replace it. Having trouble finding one. Wanted to get one that the twist lock is water proof and not a put together one from home dept.

Any thoughts on on this?

I think you mean your pump. The filter may be attached but only the pump is powered. The simple answer you won't like is that you should have a twist lock outlet within a couple feet of the pump. The NEC prohibits cords of more than three feet on pool related electrical equipment. NEC 680.7(A). Additionally the outlet must be more than six feet from the water in the pool and if within 20 feet of the pool or an outdoor residential location must be protected by a GFCI.

What do you want to do that requires a longer cord?

Problem is that where the filter is the cord barley reaches. So I wanted to have a longer cord so it's no stretch so much. Rather not move the filter.
