they through in the frog system with my pool purchase. I plan on using the BBB method here and wasn't gonna even install the frog. I started thinking what if I install it but not use it unless maybe vacation time. I could put chlorine in it when I will not be able to tend to the pool for days at a time. Any suggestions on this. I could also purchase a floating bobber and fill with chlorine that way.

I think I would leave it alone. The Frog puts stuff in your pool you really don't want. Even if it's for a short time, too much potential for trouble with Froggie.
