New House W/Pool W/a few questions on the pipes and Levers (Photo)

Hello everyone names Tim I'm in the San Diego area Inland Alpine ca.
Well the pool guy has finished the filter cleaning, we had him for 2 months.
We felt 140 was a bit much and are going to go it on our on.

Switches and levers... I have some clues but some a mystery on what they do. We never met the pool guy.

Just the filter

A: *** NO CLUE ***
B: Turn on the solar water on/off diverter.
C: The pool bottom robot and pool skimmer diverter.
D: Faucet to filll the pump basket if empty? **
E: Inflow and out flow for solar heater.
F: Backwash waste outlet
G: Open Backwash to filter lever.

Hope I have this correct... If anyone can shed light on (A) that would be great.
I think I did the pool gallons correctly.

Keeping the Chlorine level right now, till the tf100 kit comes.

EDIT: The Hockey Puck filter in photo has not been used for years.

A probably switches between an outlet for a pressure side pool cleaner and pool returns. Or a bubbler or water feature if there is one.

Makes sense, there was a waterfall feature that was filled in were the 3 plants are.... Note to self don't touch! (A)
