Stenner install, housing?

Hey guys, getting all my pieces for stenner install, and looking at it, seems to me that it should be installed inside of some sort of housing, as this will be outside. I did not get the rain roof or cover. Should this be installed into a large electrical j box, or just with the rain roof?

The rain roof is fine. It would no doubt be best with a real roof over it, but the rain roof is cheesy but fine. Its an industrial dosing pump its built to be outside. Mine is in a protected corner under tree cover with the rain roof.

I would not but it in a box but leave it out so its visible and does not overheat.
