Found the Easter Bunny - next steps

I found a *rabbit* in my skimmer this morning.

Mod note: I removed the picture. Some people might find it disturbing.



I have no idea how long it has been floating there. Can not be more than 1 or 2 days. Other than physically removing it, is there anything I need to do to "sanitize" the pool?

I've fished rats out. Since it's unlikely anyone's swimming yet, just give the pool an extra couple ppm of FC when you add and don't worry about it. If it is open, close it and take it up to shock level for a day. That'll kill anything in the water.
