new pump and motor - anything mods for a salt pool?

Greetings all,

Bought a new pump and motor (Pentair SuperFlo, 2 speed, 1HP) and would like to know if I need to change any seals before I install it because of a salt pool? I've heard from a neighbor you may need different seals due to the salt.

Nope. Same shaft seal as for any pool.

Now if you had salt levels approaching that of the ocean, then I think a different seal might be required.
