Pentair MiniMax pool heater

Hello to all, a newbie here, found this forum online and decided to try it out.
My sister has a pool with a Pentair 400 heater. She had some problems with the control system.
Got it all buttoned up and turned it on yesterday.
The thermostat control card has 6 indicator led's. The service led is coming on, indicating that something went wrong. I've checked the fuses and the limit switches, all show to be closed.
The board looks ok but I know some heat got to it since some of the wires were burtn.
what are the chances that I've got a bad boards? Has anyone else experienced this?

Update: I found an open trace in the pcb. It looks like the thermal switch failed to open due to the heat in the chamber. The trace on the pcb burned. I replaced it with a wire. And plan on replacing the Thermal Fuse.
I'll post tomorrow.
