When gutting out all of my old equipment I noticed that one of the 2" connectors that came with the heater that get glued to the 2" and then the threaded nut goes over is broke. Basically there is a chunk of the plastic that is just broken off. There is still about 1/2" intact which I would assume would be ok but I'm not sure.
I wasn't sure if I should leave it be and see what happends, or if I could use a standard 2" PVC union to replace it with?
