I have been meticulous about keeping my pool cover clean over the winter. Always getting the leaves off soon as possible, and I have even swept and vacuumed the cover a couple times. (PITA by the way). I was going to open pool last weekend but something came up and I didn't do it. We have had almost 6 inches of rain and more coming the next couple days. My questions is........would it be ok to pump the water off the cover, directly into the pool. I know I will get some fine particles of dirt, but I will have to vacuum pool anyways when I open it. I have to fill my pool with my well water pump, and I thought this would be a freebie to do it this way. Anybody see any concerns about this? Thanks!!
