Intex Pump Low Flow

Hey there TFP,

I am trying to figure out what is going on with my pump/filter. I opened the pool last week and went to attach my Kreepy Krawley and nothing happened. I have backflushed/rinsed multiple times. I have the 2150gph model (3rd season). Here is what I am seeing:

Backflush/Waste gives very strong flow on the return. Kreepy gets moving
Recirculation gives very strong flow on the return. Kreepy gets moving
Switch to filter and flow is cut by at least 50%. Kreepy stops moving

PSI remains around 10 with all these settings (right on the edge of green to yellow)

I am using recirculate right now to get the chlorine moving, sweeping, etc.

I have taken the pump apart, checked all hoses, removed the SWG to reduce possible causes, took cap off of filter and cleaned the plastic screen that is attached. Sand level is still 2/3rds full.

Any ideas on what could be happening or something I am missing?

When was the last time you deep cleaned your filter? See this thread on a bit of how to.
