I am looking into installing pool lighting into an 18x36 foot rectangular pool that currently has no light mount. We are replacing the liner this year so this is probably an ideal time to do it. First of all, how much does it typically cost to have a light installed and is it possible to do it yourself? The pool has a diving board so I would welcome finding some sort of suction wall mount or floating solution to go underneath it if it would get the job done and save a lot of money. I am not looking into anything special, just something thats white, inexpensive and bright enough so that the pool is usable at night time.
