Does the sheen of tile make a difference with maintenance?

We have narrowed down to 2 tiles and have to give the builder final selection the week.

Both are by Noble tile.

One is shiny and smooth, almost slick like. It's textured, but very glazes so your hand runs easily over it.

The other tile, is matte with metallic accents. It's textured, but is a rougher feel to it. I'm wondering if long term, this one would be harder to keep clean.

Thoughts?

Noble tile produces excellent products for pools, I have Noble tile also. I would expect both to perform well long term. Pick the one you like best.

I think it will. Long term, the glossy surface will be easier to keep, and get clean.

Glossy= Slippery.

Very Glossy=Very Slippery
