Hi everyone, I have been a pool owner for 10 years never had any problems at all but then last year Green Algae struck the Harrell Pool and I have been fighting it ever since.

Got busy last month at work no time to come home each day and clean and work the pool. So you can imagine in just a little while how the algae took over.

I am trying to adjust the PH and Alkalinity I know if I do not adjust those the chlorine will not work as it should.

Thanks for this site I have been able to get answers to many questions.
 
Welcome Sheree. Happy to have you with us. If you have any more questions about performing a "SLAM", please let us know. In the meantime, when you get a moment, please add your pool info to your signature by going to the top of the TFP web page (just under the Pool School button) and select "SETTINGS". On the next page look to the left for a menu bar that says, “MY SETTINGS” and go to "EDIT SIGNATURE" to enter your pool and equipment info there. It will help us later. Have a great day.
