Looking for recommendation on robotic pool cleaner for AGP 27', 52" deep, some footprinting. Was told to get Diver Dave type by pool store guy, but as we were looking at it a customer came over and said "don't waste your money". So now leaning towards automatic in the $350 - $400 range.

I've got some foot printing and dishing at the far end of my pool - our Pool Rover JR does a really nice job and probably is one of the best investments we have made. I think we got ours for around $300 or so. It does not stop if the water is too cold like some of the models, it doesn't run AS fast as it does when warm but it does a very respectable job and gets my pool very clean - right down to the micro Crud. 2 Thumbs up for this unit.
