Problem Pool

We recently purchased a home with a large pool. The house was discounted due to issues with the pool. The pool was built in the late sixties, and repaired on the cheap several times. We took on the adventure of repairing this pool. There are multiple cracks in the plaster that have been repaired. The pool light has been plastered over and the main drain has been covered over. The leak is located at the bottom of the last step and there is water coming back out of the crack. This site has been a great resource as to what to look for. We plan to do decking, plumbing, and coping ourselves.

HI! What an adventure you will be on! We would LOVE to see the pool and work!

So neat you got a deal because of the pool that you can fix!

Start a thread in "under cons." so we can follow along and help!

Hey neighbor. Welcome to the forum. Lots of locals here on TFP. :) Also, don't forget to update your signature with all of your pool info for later. It's helps everyone to help answer any questions you may have. Good luck on your project. Enjoy our 80-degree day tomorrow. :sun: Who said we're in Jan/Feb?

Welcome. Hope you stick around and add your repair build to our Construction forum so we can help you and watch as you renovate your pool.
