I have a Mineral Springs MS-10. I have it remotely connected to my Jandy PDA. For some reason the only way I can get it to show on my remote is to change the AL-2 to setting to AL-5. The manual refers to it as "Product name sent to the pool automation control display ("AL-2" signifies "Mineral Springs")" and the manual is poor at best. I do understand that this product is rebranded under multiple names. So I think my question has a couple of parts to it. One, why would this be happening? Two, does it really matter what this is set to? Three, what does each one stand for (AL-0 thru AL-5)? Long and short of it is my cell is dead and if I can't get this working properly I am considering swapping it out with one that will interface properly with my Jandy PDA.
