quartzite, flagstone copping

Hello TFP I need help from those of you that have quartzite and flagstone copping. We’re thinking about quartzite copping for our pool. However, someone told me flagstone and quartzite is rough. Does it snag bathing suits or scrape skin? Also, can responders include some pictures of their natural stone looking coping? I hope this is not too much to ask.

We have flagstone coping. No issues after 3-1/2 years with roughness or bathing suit snagging. Pics in build thread, link in sig.

It is a little rough, but if you are going flagstone, this is one of very few that hold up. Many others flake and chip easily. Don't ask me how I know...

We just finished doing Quartzite coping, 2.5" thick, it looks great! Its irregular, as it's a natural stone, I don't think it's sharp, it will be more rough than concrete we are still under construction so our's is not yet sealed so the color does not "pop" yet. I highly recommend it, I think it looks very natural and custom!

Thank you! Titan7 for your feedback. By the pictures you posted, it looks like we both have exactly the same pool design. As soon as I figure out how to post pictures, I will post some.
