Having grown up (relatively speaking!) in the Midwest, I'll take hot over cold any day! But snow is definitely pretty...until it isn't!

Well I'm not sure when the oldest two enjoyed themselves more today......outside playing on the swing set and sled riding or inside playing where it was warm. 
We've got a gravel driveway that if I don't clear it becomes almost impossible to get out of the house that leads into a heated garage. Rather than fighting them for an hour to get all their snowsuits on only to see them play outside for 5 minutes........I simply push all the snow from the driveway into the garage and let them play away when they get cold.

I left MD three weeks ago for Lauderdale and I'll wait until the snow melts next week to return...this guy is my new fishing buddy on Deerfield Beach Pier

Original forecast here was 6-10 inches. That's a normal snow fall for us. As of now, we have over 20 on the ground and expecting another 8 inches by day break.

We dodged the bullet here in the SE corner of VA (Hampton Roads). Yes, it made a mess, especially on the Peninsula, but nothing like our neighbor's not too far north of here.
29.2" BWI, ~ 10 miles away. Less here in Annapolis, about 22". Now we begin to shovel our way out !

Hey you are plowed! Great. What I hate about plowing is having to break out the drive way every time. We have about 35 inches total we had one plow pass through.
We are plowed -- soon we will begin the big dig, which is good because all I've been doing is eating and sitting!! Happy shoveling!
