Why shouldn't you use Trichloro-s-triazinetrione tablets?

Hi I'm a new hot tub owner Bullfrog A8. I would like to know why it's not recommended to use 1" Trichloro-s-triazinetrione tablets in a floater in the spa/hot tub to help maintain FC.
I'm guessing because it's stable chloro and will raise the CYA to high overtime?
Is there a non-stable chloro tablet on the market or dose everybody just use liquid chlorine?
