Adding a chlorinator to Intex pool

Hi All
I have a 26 footer Intex ultra frame pool for setup this next spring. I have been wondering about adding a chlorinator to this pool. My worry is that I have read that this can cause rust throughout the frame of the pool. What's the general thought of using one on an ultra frame pool on TFP?
