Raypak RP2100 Solar Heater

Hi, I just moved into a rental home that said it has a solar pool heater. The sticker on the unit is faded but I did see that it is the raypak rp2100 millivolt. After searching online, it l see that this is a natural gas heater ? Are they often reconfigured for solar? There are solar panels on the roof? Any insight would be appreciated.

It's not solar, it's gas.

Millivolt is the ignitor.

Yes, there are panels on the roof. I do not have a manual and the landlord is useless. How does it work?

any chance someone can direct me to a download of the manual for using solar instead of propane, is that even possible?

The solar is to basically pre-heat the water before it goes to the heater, if they set it up correctly. Thete are a coup different manufacturers of solar heat panels, I had Fafco.
