pool pump leak

I have a pool pump leak from the sides. Usually happens when the pump starts out and after a few seconds once the pump is primed, the leak stops. However, what does happen is that after about 30 minutes or so the filter pressure goes up substantially and the water flows very slowly. I have uploaded a video to youtube here:

Are all these issues pointing to a pump gasket issue and that it needs to be replaced or could it be something else?

If its the gasket...what would you recommend:

Probably several issues. First, the filter probably needs to be cleaned. The water quality might be bad causing the filter to clog. The gasket might be bad. And the bolts might need to be tightened.

First clean the filter thoroughly, then tighten the bolts, but not too tight.

What filter do you have?

What does the pressure go to?

What is the water quality?

What are all of your chemistry readings?
