Testing green water

This is a hypothetical question. If I open to a green pool next spring (I hope not), my question is, how do the chemicals from a Taylor Test Kits react with the green water? Do the chemicals make the green water turn into clear water in the testing process? If you are checking PH and water is green, will the reagent give you the proper reading? Sorry if this a dumb question, just something I been thinking about!

That is an awesome question and I know the answer! It will NOT change the test results at all!

When you pull the water from the pool it will not look as bad as the overall pool. In fact it will look almost clear in the tube.

Even the CYA test, when done a on cloudy pool, will still be valid.
