PH swing in hot tub

Recently switched water in my above ground hot tub 350g. Now I am struggling to keep PH below 8. What gives ? Numbers are the same as before I dumped and I was able to maintain 7.6 with a rise to 7.8ish while in use.

Did you have borates in the water before? Do you have more aeration now than before?

No borate I do the bleach method after getting cya to 20 to 30 range.

Well I don't know why there's a difference between last time and this time, but I do know that 50 ppm Borates will help buffer the pH so you can get boric acid from DudaDiesel or from The Chemistry Store.
