Measured my CYA and others, except free chlorine. r-0870 spilled during shipment:-( Cya was actually the same from the pool store, 125. Draining and replacing 1/3rd at a time. Now, January, and March. Hope will reach good level after 3rd round. TJ

How did you come by the 125 number? The test is really only good to 100. So to measure beyond that you need to dilute the pool water 50% with tap water first.
Yes, I mixed sample where ~ less than 90 ppm first. Then I cut by half and add tap water, ~ doubled what was left after 50% cut. Did the black dot test and multiplied the reading by 2. black dot disappeared right below 60 reading. Performed test twice. Tomorrow I will test again after pump and filter have run during part of the night
