Salt Cell Repair

When a salt cell dies, what fails? The follow up question being, can it be repaired?

I'm looking at my cell, and I see nothing wrong with the plates. Is there a circuit board inside? Is it a connection? For $500, I am interested in trying my hand at repairing this cell.

There are many things that can cause a cell to not work, some of which can be repaired and others that need the cell replaced. What brand of cell do you have and what are the symptoms an/or error codes?

Just noticed your user name. Run through the diagnostics and post the results along with why you believe the cell is not working.

As seen in another thread, the anode post corroded in two. It was beyond repair.
