So we moved into this house with an existing pool and i'm learning a lot on this forum. I know these Photon Generators take care of the lights. But does anyone know much about them? How do they work? Why do I have two of them? What do the switches on the back do? Anyone have a pdf of a users manual?

Take a look at the Pentair product page for the Fiberworks lights. There are several different manuals listed when you click on the '+' to the right of Owners Manuals.
