We just bought a house in South Florida and replaced the old SWG with new system. Replaced an old pump with variable speed inetlliflow pump. The pool is about 17K Gal with a spa. It used to have a heater but we removed it as it was corroded. Recent ally we found out that the pump will prime but after running some 30 odd minutes or it will suck less water (same speed). I have checked all of the J Valves gaskets and all looks fine. Additionally during the prime or if pump is running at high speed 3200 rpm the SWG will show that water is flowing and start generating chlorine. However I have observed that after running about 20 minutes or so it will show no flow. Can anyone please shed a light what's going on here? The choline level is 3, and all other chemicals are in working range. Thank you for your help and looking forward to learn and share. Thanks

When the flow drops off, is it sucking air? Check the pump basket. Is it full of water or air? That should tell you if you are looking for a suction leak or a problem on the return side.
