Polyquat or Algaecide

This is our first time closing our new-to-us pool.
My bad, I did not order the polyquat stuff online before now. And here we are with cold weather and I need to get the pool closed. I am going to stop by the pool store this afternoon for some polyquat but I already called and they only have something called algaecide-30. Can I just use that? Do I use two? Or is it better to use nothing if it isn't polyquat-60?

And I'm just keeping my fingers crossed that an air compressor magically appears for me. I have no idea how I'm going to get that part done. But that's another headache.

It should be the same thing, just less concentrated. If the product has ANY metals listed on the label, do not use it. Dose according to your pool volume and what is indicated on the container or instructions.

And I won't double the dose to pretend it is 60 instead of 30.
