Hayward Pro Grid Pressure Valve

Can someone verify this part does unscrew from the assembly? It seems pretty darn tight and I don't want to break the housing. Forgive my childish paint skills.

Yes it does unscrew, hence the male thread. But do it carefully, things do break

The large part unscrews from the top by turning about a 1/4 of a turn. Gently rock it out of the tank top. there are two piston seal orings. Once the large piece comes out there is a nut underneath the large part that you use to remove the air relief on the top of the large part.
