Pool opening - step install on salt pool

I read a thread here in the fall telling how to take out the ladders when the salt had corroded them into place. Someone gave advice on a particular lubricant to put on the ladders before installing them in the spring. It will prevent the bond from occuring between the ladder anchor and the ladder itself.

Does anyone have any advice?

The answer was marine grade grease.
