Those of you who live in the colder regions, when will you start running your pool filter ? I was thinking about maybe later this month assembling my filter and start running my filter. I am not going to bother removing my cover until all the springtime PIA "whirrly birds" tree debris have all fallen off the trees which will be mid may.
How early do you start running your filter?

You want to start running the pump and testing and balancing the water by the time the water reaches 60 degrees. When that happens will of course vary from place to place.
I am in MN... The pool will be open in two week.. now swimming anytime soon won't be happening.
