Pentair WhisperFlo WFDS-28: repair or replace?

My Pentair WhisperFlo WFDS-28 has been making noise all season. It makes noise like it has loose parts inside and also vibrates. Bearings maybe???

It is 10 years old. Should I repair or replace?

Repair: replace bearings?

Replace: just the motor (and a seal kit)? or replace the whole pump assembly (but then I would need to re-plumb?)?

Any recommendations?

Amazon has new whole pump assembly for $710.

inyopools has new motor only for $390.

Consider upgrading to a 2 speed motor. There is not usually a need to replace the entire pump.
