Our Swim Pure T Cell 15 SWP recently quit working after 3 years and would like advice on a replacement Cell. Not sure if we need to stay with the T 15 SWP (? on what SWP means) or if we could change to a different brand/generic and still use our Swim Pure Plus panel?

Are you *sure* it quit working and not a chemistry problem or has the cell worn flat out and just need replacement of the cell only.

TFP recommends SWGs be sized 2-3x the size of the pool so it can be run at lower % to extend its lifespan.... never mind- I see yours was plenty big enough :)

If the cell is depleted, you can buy a T-15 replacement cell on Amazon for $400. I got 7+ years out of a T-15 in a 19k pool that stays open year round, so 3 years sounds a bit on the short side. However if the water wasn't kept in balance or if the SWG has been set at a high percentage, that would have hastened is demise.

Replace it with any T-15 cell as they are the same as far as the different lingo goes. Some T-15 cells have one year warranties while others have 3 year warranties and the price is not related to the warranty.
