So I have 1 1/2" plumbing on a 46k gallon pool. I have two suctions lines / skimmers and also two returns. I've been worried about this 42 approx GPM max i'm reading about 1 1/2" pipe. My question is can I actually push double that since I have the 2 return and suction lines? Hoping I can turn over the water in about 10 hours.
Does Max GPM double if I have two suction and two returns?

There is no upper limit on the GPM you can push through small pipes. The only issue is that the higher the GPM the more electricity you are wasting pushing the water through.
Running two 1 1/2" pipes in parallel is about the same as having a single 2" pipe.
Running two 1 1/2" pipes in parallel is about the same as having a single 2" pipe.
