just finished filling roughly 10,400 gallons into my intex agp. still waiting on my test kit to arrive (hopefully by fri) so i went to leslie's to get water tested.


SUMMARY

FAC - 0
TAC - 0
CYA - 0
TA - 100
pH - 8
TDS - 250
Pho - 400

where i get confused is poolmath is telling me to add 14oz of muriatic acid for my PH and then for FC 65oz of 6 weight % bleach 96oz jug
i have read through the tutorials but im still confused. do i add these 2 things then re-test and go from there? or wait for my taylor k-2006 kit to arrive?

You should lower the Ph to 7.4ish and then, 30 minutes later, add enough bleach at whatever % it is to get FC to 5. I'd add enough CYA (stabilizer to take it to 50 for where you are and then adjust FC accordingly by the Chlorine/CYA chart in Pool School.
