Suz, I agree with you on Daves pool and landscaping as well as everyone else's- just fabulous! I too need a Divin Dave for my yard.
So Dave with all those plants and grass, how's the water bill in this heat? Ours was pretty high last month.

We are in a different zone than you, but only chopped our banana trees down this winter, covered with mulch and they came back bigger and better than ever! The first year we were here, we wrapped them in Dacron and burlap and they all came back, but not like this year.

Its really not as bad as it sounds Suz, considering I irrigate almost 1/2 acre of lawn. I have a pretty big yard. If I didnt have to pay the sewer charge too, it wouldn't be so bad. July and August are the worst.

We were in the pool before it was full and had a big pool party the first weekend. Just sayin' ...
I love the photos of all the pools. The photos of people's pools under construction with workers in the background kind of bum me out because no one seems to work on ours. But hey I do love looking at all the photos.
Meh. Give the water a full test with your TF-100 and if the pH and FC look good... hop in! Make sure if they are going to add chemicals during the start up, to have them document EVERYTHING they put in and give you a list once they're done.
Don't feel too bad ummgood.
My picture is very specifically directed to avoid seeing the dirt wasteland with a huge pile of dirt next to my pool.
I am waiting for my PB to get the septic contractor out here today to finally get my septic heads moved.
I have had my pile of dirt blocking the septic spray since we filled the pool.
I still can't believe we dug in June (2014) and we are still not done.
My picture is very specifically directed to avoid seeing the dirt wasteland with a huge pile of dirt next to my pool.
