Ozonator?

Putting a SWG in today. Taking the ozone injector out and putting the SWG cell in seems the easy route. However, should I keep the ozone or ditch it?

Thoughts?

I'll be back. Gotta put a circuit board in first.

My personal opinion, ditch the ozonator, SWG will maintain your chlorine levels just fine

Just a thought, Kias.... if you know someone you don't like who has a pool and does pool store testing, sell it to them. That way I think you both would be happy

Ozonators have a place, it is just not in a typical outdoor residential pool, sell it on ebay and get some of your money back. They are great for high bather load pools, therapy pools, indoor pools, etc.

The only time I would recommend keeping the ozonator is if the pool has an attached spa. Then the ozonator can be used to help oxidize bather waste in the spa. Otherwise, at the very least, it's just wasting electricity.
