I have a speck pump and recently had to replace the timer. The timer was sent from speck itself. I had my electrician put it in. First my last timer had three settings - auto off on. This timer has only auto and on. The on position does not work. The auto works and I am able to adjust with the pins but nothing happens when I switch it to on. I called speck they sent another timer which I again put in and it's still doing the same thing.

Disregard missing the off setting, that just puts the system into service mode, not important and shouldn't change the wiring. Does the timer keep time? What is the voltage of the pump and the timer they supplied?
I will have to get back with the voltage of the pump. I just replaced the timer with a second new one and it's doing the same thing. It appears to be lagging time, like an hour a day. The timer would not shut the system off yesterday. As it turns its pulling the pegs in keeping the system on. The on position still is not working. Speck people are stumped?
It will be either/or. What power are you using? The 120 or the 240 and is the timer compatible with that voltage?
