Finally got the hot tub installation completed yesterday. The electrician had to run a lot of conduits and wiring, so that bill was a good deal higher than I expected! He did a really good job; ran the conduits under the house so the wiring didn't show; I wouldn't have noticed it if I hadn't been looking for it!

Since it's a 2nd-hand spa, I did "decontam" last night--filled the spa and superchlorinated to 100 ppm, ran the jets for 30 min, then drained. Tonight I will fill it up, add the bromine, and fire up the heater. The jets and the light (pretty BLUE!) work GREAT. Hope the heater will do as well.
