Aqua trol temperature reading very wrong.

Hi all,

Just replaced my current inrush limiter from the post on this site. Worked great, but now I have a new issue.

Worked great last night and into this morning. Had it set to super chlorinate as I had no chlorine in the pool. Checked this morning and chlorine was good so I backed off the generation. As soon as I did that it started reading hot, then cold, then hot. When I looked at the temp on the display and it was going from 130 to 50 to 100 an so on. Never stayed at one temp for more than a second. Have unplugged, re-calibrated with no fix to the issue.

Any ideas? Temp in pool right now is 74.

If the flow is good, then the temperature sensor is probably bad. Probably going to need a new cell.

Try resetting the display board. If it's not making good contact with the pins, it might cause erratic readings.

Tried reseatting with the same problem. Itnis weird because it reads the correct tempature until it is done it's diagnostic thing when I plug it in. Once it is over the temp goes crazy. AlL seems good until the diagnostic is over.
