how important is TA...

Hello,
My test results tonight are as follows...
FC - 4
PH - 7.6
TA - 160
CH - 250
CYA - 70

These results have been pretty consistent. They all seem to be within the normal range for my SWG, except the TA. When I plug my numbers the PoolMath calculator no correction is given. Not sure how much (if at all) of what I should be adding.

Any help in understanding what is going on and if I should be concerned would be appreciated.

If your pool is running smoothly and your pH is behaving OK, I wouldn't touch a thing. High TA can be fine in some pools and sometimes causes issues in others.

As long as your Ph remains relatively stable---you're good to go. My PH prefers about 60 for a TA it seems.
